PC-based tools used?

I'm curious. What PC-based tools and utilities (besides MCC18, MPLAB, etc.) have you used to assist in development, debugging, etc.?

Between the autonomous generators and data loggers, I'm wondering what I'm missing.

VB 6 and Visual Studio .NET, mainly for custom telemetry programs and datalogging.

I ment more the tools themselves, not the language you made them in.

I've used Excel for some analyses and I'm currently investigating DataMaster2003 for realtime data acquisition and analysis.
