Downtime.

We very well could be going down tonight to move to our new server. It all depends on how a few of these inital site transfers (see below) work. If it does happen, it will be somewhere around 7-9PM EST and could take a few hours to move.

Yes, it is day 3 in the season, but I'd rather take it down for a few hours tonight and let EVERYBODY have at it tomorrow, rather than block everyone above 250-275 users. Our new server is a Dual Xeon 3.20Ghz with 2GB of RAM and 2x73 SCSI HDD. We shouldn't have any problems with traffic for a while, and if we ever do we have a bunch of upgrade options without having to move again.

So, when the site does go down for the move, a message will be posted here, as well as status updates on when it will return. While it is down, maybe re-read the rules or sleep or something. :)

FIRSTwiki.org is already moved (awating DNS to be changed)
deansimmonsandthekamens.com is moving as I type this.
ChiefDelphi.com will move tonight, when I can give it 100% attention.

sounds good. How much could this thing theoretically support? Where is it going to be capped, or is it?
