guys... that was awesome ::sniff:: that was ::sniff:: my last regional! Aaaaaaahhh!!! :ahh:
oh but hey I'll see bunches of people again, like the Pit Admin Divas--I recognized you from the FLL tournament I volunteered at!
Back to my point. FIRSTers are awesome, and there is no regional like Chesapeake. I was totally wowed when 175 offered to help our team when they were our opponents during the finals. Also, I appreciated the mentors of team 56 trying to explain to me how to scout on Saturday--by championship, I'll have it straight before Saturday afternoon.
Congratulations to the number 1 alliance--it was awesome facing you guys! Hope to see you at the Championship :)

On behalf of Team 399 (the guys without shirts on from Cali) we would like to extend our thanks to those who accepted us into your regional and made us feel welcomed. I personally loved the city and the atmosphere back east, we hope to attend again. Thanks again to all the teams who helped us to succeed.

And we loved having you. You added a certain frenzy to the stands.
Some on your team need to seriously reconsider the no-shirt look.

We were thinking the same thing. During the double time out all the seniors realized that either that match or the next one would be our last regional match ever. It was sad.

Yea, I had loads of fun at this regional event. It was my first regional event, becuase I was unable to attend last year's competition. Anyways, I met loads of cool people, and I was wondering if people who saw me at the competition and recognize me via my website (http://www.myspace.com/jadedthunder), could contact me either via email (haahaamagician@gmail.com) or via aol screen name: haahaamagician

That was exactly the kind of team boost the Chesapeake regional needed. To 399, you actually kinda helped us get into the Team Spirit of things (and this is our home regional). It was magnetic (with 624's help)! You guys should come again, though it is not likely you'll see me. (I'll be in college then.)

This Chesapeake regional was fantastic. I'm already looking foward to next year's. Annapolis is now one of my favorite cities. Congratulations to 1629 for the #1 seed, and thanks for inviting us and 1184 along to help in the end. Hopefully both of you will make it to Atlanta.

I would just like to say thanks on the behalf of team 1629 to 1184 and 175. You guys were two of the best alliance parterns we ever had. It really wasnt that hard of a decsion to invite you guys to be part of the number one alliance. Buzz had a great auto- mode and a great shooter. 1184 was an excellent defensive robot and a great team player. Even if u guys didnt score much (being the driver i didnt get to watch that much of the finals) u were a very important part of our alliance and we could not have done it with you guys.
Team 1629 will be going to atlanta. I know that buzz wanted some buttons at annapolis but we were all out during the finals. We should have a bunch at Championships so just come and find us (unless we find you first).

Re: 2006 Chesapeake Regional

I had a blast at this years regional. Thanks to all who helped us out with parts and such. We wouldn't have had a well working bot without everybody's help. I would like to thank few teams in particular, Team 75 for our odd-ball random parts, Team 175 for the green cold cathodes to fix our awesome robot cart, and last but not least, Team 1894 for picking us to join them in their alliance (sorry we didn't do very well).

PS: Team 611 is in need of a pair of lollerskates.
