why are you posting a lan party on the internet when most people on (chief_delphi) are from all other states and country's.this type of thing is Suppose to be LOCAL .

ALSO,

THERE ARE 16 [or more now?] ROCHESTER NY AREA TEAMS. YES< COUNT THEM, 15 TEAMS WITHING 30 or 45 min of ROCHESTER NY.

And people from those teams use chiefdelpi, plus, it is actually a realy good fundrasing idea... sorry if you dont like it.

I am not a fan of giving negative rep, so I wont, but seriously, a lot of people are going to give you a hard time if you go about things that way.

From the look of things he's gotten plenty (though that could be due to his other posts as well).

when you post a lan party on cheifdelphi most other teams are not in ny
which dose not serve a point; most other teams in surronding area did not come to your lan party , only gamers and team
i dont take trash; just say what i think

Do you have something against NY? I'm from the Midwest and i think its a great idea having a LAN party and posting it on chief Delphi. Plus next time someone could say "Hey LAN party on UT2004 server: FIRST ROBOTICS. the password is AIM HIGH" You got to realize NY is very big so posting it on chief Delphi was a great idea. If you don't like it then don't read it.

It's no different then posting off season events. Most of the teams that attend them are local or in a nearby state (IRI is the exception). Chiefdelphi is a community that ALL OF FIRST uses to spread information that helps FIRST teams all around. This was a 1511 fundraiser, thus it was important. That you take umbrage to it shows how little you grasp the scope of FIRST and what this page is about. Next time please try to be more considrate.

i understand; i thought you guys got a Private server otherwise these type of lans are more Advertised in your city and around your city;

I know many many people who go to Arena 51. It is a gaming center. I am positive a ton of robo nerds in the rochester area [and farther] have come to game there.

I thought it would interest others because its different than normal because it is helping out a fellow robo team.

We advertised in our area, but we thought that we could reach more people in our area [and out] by posting on CD. :)
