My team has had our hotels since like the begginning of december I think.

I believe the hotel is the Hyatt Regency.

Wait until THS releases the hotel packages, and you'll get a good idea of what hotels to look at.

I think we already got our reservations at the Omni once again. I think he made them as early as possible like in october or november im assuming. the earlier the better.

the pink team (233) will be staying at the omni again. we've stayed there the past 2 years. it's GREAT - especially with so many teams that return to the same hotel

All the Xerox Teams will be staying at the Embassy Suites again as last year.
Like the Omni it's a quick walk away. The only change this year is that we are now bussing from Rochester for about ~20 hours. Do I hear Dramamine?

Two questions:

How did teams get reservations before yesterday? I can't fathom that Embassy Suites had only 5 rooms available when THS opened the site.

We're looking at Westin and Marriott Marquis - any recommendations?

I stayed in the Marriott in 2004. It was very nice.

You really can't go wrong with either. IIRC, the Westin is a block or two farther away from the venue than the Marriott, which may or may not make a difference to you.

That cool aquarium is all done too that they were building behind the hotel. I definately want to check that out!

Before we get too far into a giant thread with noone knowing whats going on. I've created a simple PHP script to manage all of this stuff. It's very simple to use.
You make sure your team isn't listed, then put in your team number, and select which hotel you are staying at.

I have one thing to ask -- Only put this in if you are sure you are staying at a certain hotel. Don't put it in if you think you know, but aren't certain.

team 223 will be staying at the westin peachtree hotel. But that means that 7am we'll be waiting and waiting for an elevator that isnt full of people to stop on our floor :(

My hotel is not listed on there; 461 will be at the Comfort Inn.

Team 716 will once again be at Embassy Suites.

We had a good experience there last year - clean, spacious rooms and a decent breakfast. We decided to stay there again this year because it's location was also perfect (walking distance from the Georgia Dome, and right next to Centennial Park).

1089 and 25 will be at the Omni again this year. I definitely loved it there last year! There were nice views, it was right near Centennial Park, and VERY close to GA Dome. Very convenient for people like me who manage to forget their op badges and realize after their team is queued that it's in the hotel, and then have to the hotel and back before their team is up =p. There was very good service there, and it was very clean. I thought it was an awesome hotel!

Team 612 will be staying at the Hyatt regency. Last year we stayed in Days inn, i remember waiting for the elevator for like 10 minutes....we were on 13th floor.
Lets see how Hyatt goes....i guess they have three different elevators.
Good to see that team 340, 384, and 1002 are gonna be in the same hotel.

Team 254 will be at the Omni.

We'll miss the awesome free breakfast at the Embassy Suites, but the Omni is pretty sweet as well :)

i believe, and i'll be confirmed later i guess, 1038 will be at the mariott. we stayed at the omni last year, that was a BLAST. and now i see so many teams staying there :( oh well, our "head" mentor likes to change hotels, 2004 they stayed at the embassy, last year was the omni, and now i believe mariott since every other hotel was filled as well. well hope to see everyone in atlanta!

121 was supposed to stay at the Hyatt, but they overbooked, so we were bumped to the Mariott Marquis.
