How fast can the corner goals detect balls going in?

Is there any rate at which the corner goals will miss balls? Like, if one ball goes in right after the other, could it be missed?

i have gotten assurances from a person who worked with testing/ developing the system that you can send 17 balls through the hole at the same time and the camera will see and distinguish them all.

edited to say: FIRST is going to be hauling a ton of computing power with the fields this year just to do scoring...i believe there are at least 4 computers just for that

I can imagine! What are they doing, running a Hough transform or something similar? Or is that proprietary? :D
