ACTUALLY maybe you should check what i said i bet that not very many people know how good a r32 is most people only know abour r34's...plus i said s15 not supra...supras suck at drifting they only good at high speed.

You guys just be carefull when you drift, I've seen guys hit curbs and rip their suspension out forget even hurting themselves. Drifting is fun but only in a large area with no one around. The challenge may be to control uncontrolled driving but when again, you can't control it, it's not fun at all. And now to be more optimistic :D

edit: couldn't post the pic :(

Alright, then, S15 is obviously the Silvia, now, if your so knowledgeble, how many generations of the Silvia were there? (Don't google it)

Also, any car is good for drifting, if its RWD of course, it just takes setup.

If you're going to argue, take it to private messages. Thanks.

drifting is sick nasty ... taka aono and sam hubinnette are amazing .. Taka took on Sam like 2-3 years ago at irwindale and they had to keep going and Taka's AE86 was keeping up with the V10 powered viper till the Ae86 overheated....

D1> formula D

and the old school option vidoes are sick

That would be Road Atlanta, 2005 you are talking about between Sam and Taka. I personally love the new BFG ads, with Sam and his new Charger.

Re: Drifting

What you call drifting is what us old times knew as Ridge Running back in the day...

Rt 10 out of Pine Lake,NY down Kane mountain on a full moon night.
69 Road Runner with a 440 with a 6 pack (3x2bbl carbs) ,four speed pistol grip,
60's on the front, 50's on the rear... awesome with the head lights out, using both sides of the road. :D

BEEP BEEP!

Just got to watch out for the deer

That stupid "one more time" caused the overheating, which I thought was kinda unfair since I like Hachirokus :(

Re: Drifting

Mate, "One more times" are a staple of the drifting community. If you want to see a good example, pick up the Option DVD that covers the 2006 D1GP Ebisu round. They go through a round, with 4 Sudden death rounds, then another one with four, and a couple with three. Aono should have just had a better cooling system. :-p

PS - Kazama is a choob, lol.

I'm not a huge fan of drifting. I like my car to stick to the road. My bmw 318ti does that quite well. We have a lot of mountain roads around here which are endless fun (provided you don't get stuck behind someone doing 10mph).

Honestly, I am a 'grip' racing fan first and foremost. Sometimes though, you need a little refresh from that, which is where drifting comes into the picture. :) When this thread was made, at least a year ago, I was a huge drift fanboy, dunno why, lol.
