Just wanted to let everyone know that the West Michigan Regional has a new website available at www.westmichiganregional.com.

The website has plenty of information for teams to look at. If you are attending the West Michigan Regional, welcome and check out what is available in the area. I am still working on adding additional links so check back often.

Warren Robotics Team #829 - "The Digital Goats" is looking forward to attending.

Any recommendations on where to stay? Which hotels are the closest to the competition? Any within walking?

There is a Sleep Inn & Suites 1/2 mile from the field house. It is a fairly new hotel. There is also a Burger King across the street from where the hotel.

The hotels listed in THS are in Downtown Grand Rapids and Downtown GR is about 25 miles from the campus.

Correction, The mileage that I stated earlier from downtown to the campus was per Mapquest which took the scenic route. If you take M45 or Lake Michigan Drive straight due west of downtown it should only be 10-15 miles tops.

Warren Robotics #829 and Cyber Cards #1529 will be staying in the Fairfield by Marriott on the southeast side of Grand Rapids. The rate per night is $65 plus taxes.
