Tether Pinout
 

Ok before i ask i would like to state that i ahve searched the forum and the only post i found that was close was clear back in 2002 so i am afarid it might be out of date. ;)

Does anyone know the exact pinout for the tether port on the Robot Controller? Does it use all 9 pins, or jsut a few?

I don't know if IFI lets that info out, like they don't release the entire competition port pinout.

Right... well right now i will just assume it uses all 9 pins unless i hear different.

It would be nice to also know which pins on the Robot Controller Tether put power out to power the OI.

Go post on IFI's forum.. they gave me the program port pinout when I asked last year.

The tether port isn't like the competition on. If someone gets enough data about the competetion port, they could possibly interfere with the game. Tether ports aren't supposed to have anything on them in the game, so it really doesn't matter.
