Powering CMUcam without full-size RC?
I'm taking the CMUcam home tonight for some testing. While I've been at our school, I've been using the '04 robot to power the CMUcam. However, I obviously can't bring the whole robot home to test the camera. Will the camera be able to be powered off a Robovation PWM port? If not, is there any other way to power it without a full size controller?
Thanks. |

-Kevin Edit: Er, wait, I just remembered that I modified the CMUcam2 attached to my EDU-RC to derive it's internal +5v from the EDU-RC's +5v supply. So, I'm not sure if the +7.2v is available on the PWM outputs. |

If you happed to have old "brick" transformer power supplies laying around, they can come in handy for easy, (more) portable power. Cheers! -Joe |
