wht about if their shooting mechanism is right at 5'

Re: another question
It will be like basketball. The only way a robot can shoot over yours is:
1. if they are taller than yours or 2. the ball comes out of the top or the back of the robot, where you cant get in their robo-face. if you plan to defend your goals by blocking, that will be interesting. Your bot will have to be able to take a 12M/S shot to the head, repeatedly, and stay on its feet. |
Re: another question
And your 5'? Well point taken. But most likely there "shooter" is angled so most likely it would fly over you.
KenWittlief Is right, but if it is in the front yes you could stand in front of the opposing robot AND get in there robo-face. |
Re: another question
i know i could find this in the manual but could put a net over their cannon as long as its within the 5' foot limit

Re: Blocking Shooting Robots
Mount a large fan on the top of your robot and blow there balls out of the way. Just a thought, probably won't work.

Re: Blocking Shooting Robots
Push them around, and spoil their aim. Just don't knock them over.

Re: Blocking Shooting Robots
There is the idea to extend a sheet over them at exactly 5' up which probably no shooter will touch exactly. Outside of that i'm all for the fan idea, i even think it would work, I just don't think any robot here needs any more spinning parts this year ;).
