And the shells to the dewalts are laid out in a triangle...holonomic drive maybe?? Just a guess on my part.

Seems as if original suspicions may be incorrect. If you look at the results to this poll you can see that they are using 4WD...

No. They're using a three motor omni wheel thrower that can throw balls in every direction at once. Kinda like a confetti machine, only foamier!
