Radio Shack Stealth Vex Sale?
 

My team stopped in at our local Radio Shack today to pick up another shaft encoder kit (for our programmer's test bot), and we were charged $5.00 less than the marked price (14.99 instead of 19.99). When we asked about this, the salesman checked some more items on his computer, and they all came up discounted (full kit 199.99, metals kit 59.99, sprockets and chain 24.99, programming kit 79.99, etc.). The Radio Shack website does NOT reflect these discounts, there was no sale sign on the display, nor were they advertised in our recent flyer (this past Sunday). We just confirmed the sale by phone with another local Radio Shack, as well.

So . . . if you need some additional Vex components for your upcoming FVC competition, now might be a good time to check out your local Shack. The salesman said that their current sale goes to February 4th.
