Re: after robotics
I tend to sleep. then sleep some more, actually do my homework, and practice once again for orchestra rehearsal. a lot of the fun is gone, though.

All along I've always thought the year was broken down into the build-season, competition-season, post/off-season, and the pre-season. Does this mean there is extra months in the year? Because I can really use some of those... :p Edit: I think its funny that this is also my 333rd post. :p |

Historically, the folks on my team largely shut down for a month or two after Palmetto. (The team, for some reason, gripes about strange things, like "sleep," that I just can't comprehend.) Then, over summer, we'll get the ball rolling again for next season |
Re: after robotics
I will go back to work, been taking anytime I get to help out team this year. I will take my bug out maybe and give it some trender loving care
LOL. |
Re: after robotics
After robotics... I wonder what that feels like since this is my rookie year and I do robotics in my dreams, too!
|
Re: after robotics
I'm not gonna lie, I don't do a whole lot during the off season. Most of the time I spend hanging out with my friends who play M:TG.
|
Re: after robotics
I play Playstation (I challenge anyone to try and beat my drag racing GNX in GT4-using RWD and no spray, my current record is 10.312) Pixel Art on my computer (see my avatar) and pretty much just talk to people on AIM oir MSN

Re: after robotics
Work. Surf the net alot. Wait for off season events.
Hopefully this year I'll start up a Lego LEague team in my church. |
Re: after robotics
I work on average of about 50 hours in the summertime, and about 30 during school. Plus there is also the fact that one of my best friends lives on a lake. And you cant forget for those people that live in the Midwest "Cedar Point" LOL
|
Re: after robotics
I am out playing soccer or inside playing videogames(depending on the weather)
|
Re: after robotics
While still in high school, my post season has been trying to dig myself out of whatever academic hole I've gotten myself into over the last 6 weeks. So more sleep is the least of my worries.
|
Re: after robotics
What do I do after the season? Pretty much the same thing I do during the season. With less stress. And fewer deadlines.
|
Re: after robotics
after robotics? I break down and cry. I dont want it to end. :(
|
Re: after robotics
After the season? Oh I only show up to robotics ONCE a week. :P
|
Re: after robotics
HA! Robotics is NEVER over on my team! We work all year round, even over the summer!
|
Re: after robotics
I guess after this season I'm going to study more into programming, work in theatre(i might have and internship), and then there's marching band(I'm a nerd(FIRST), a dork(Theatre), and a geek(band). A perfect competition. no, I don't play sports.

Re: after robotics
I start working on FLL for Broward county as well as an offseason. Robotics is just never over for me.
|
Re: after robotics
after seasons pretty rough... basically it consists of putting my other life back together...making sure im not doing THAT bad in school..hopefully i can still graduate. andd making sure i didnt completely ruin my non-robotics friends relationships by completely ignoring them for 6 weeks....its usually a pretty rough cycle...
