Krispy Kremes
 

First of all, I want to say thanks to Caroline for giving me my first krispey kreme donught at nats. It was gooood! But here's my problem. I was eating a dunkin donougt on sunday, and I could barely finish it! Once you've had krispey kreme, there really is no going back. I guess I have to agree with all of Dave Lavery's krespy kreme speeches now :) So, for all of you old timer krispy kreme eaters, do you eat dunkin donoughts too, or have I commited blasphemy by even suggesting it? :)

Um...actually i only really like krispy kremes....but today i did eat Dunkin Dounuts since my history teacher brought those in to our class and we had to eat them...

Our local grocery store has Day Old Stale Krispie Kreame donuts that are leftover from the Krispie Kreame store in Indianapolis....ugggg after eating them once..... I still like our local donut store that a guy runs out of his house...Now those are donuts

When you are hungry, i think it's better to go to a corner store. (or dunkin's, if that's what you like). I made a rule never to eat kk on an empty stomach...they are so light you can eat a dozen before you even realize that you have made yourself sick.
Oh and by the way....it's Dunkin *Donuts* but krispy Kreme *dough*nuts

I still have not had a Krispy Kreme.

I had my first KK at nationals this year as well....courtesy of adam, followed closely by another one from dave lavery. and I have to say...they were excellent! thank you adam! thank you dave!

Theres nothing better than getting doughnuts for your birthday that spell "happy birthday" i still dont know how they make the letters so perfect, but they can spell anything for you, its really quite fun. (and they are betting than krispy kremes!)

I've never had a Krispy Kreme.

I'm not much of a donut fan, and I've never seen them, ever.

Are they in regular stores, or a special store of their own, like Dunkin Donuts?

Hmm...they can't be THAT good, can they? i mean, i've never seen them anywhere...

THE first one i every had was fresh off the line, and i;ll never go back.. But i am beginning to be ruined on them when i get them all the time from gas stations. but nothing compare to fresh ones.

I had my first Krispy Kreme ever at nationals as well. Given to me by the Krispy Kreme King Himself! What an honor!!! And it was better than that other donut company whose name I have already forgotten. our school has a lot of krispy kreme fund raisers. (thats evil) i usually buy a couple of dozen. i can't help it. curse you krispy kreme. how can i stay made at you krispy kremes you're too good.:cool:

Our team was trying to be cordial to our neighbors in Archimedes this year, so we went out to buy donuts and give them away in the mornings of the Championships.

So... there I am, buying 10 dozen Krispy Kremes. Low and behold, who walks in the door and orders 12 dozen right as I'm paying my bill? Dave Lavery and Adam from 401!

Why am I always in the wrong place? I love KK and can stand cake doughnuts every once in a while. But mostly, I eat the yeast rise ones, aka, KK. So where was the KK in FL?

i had my first Krispy Kreme two years ago and they were the best. they were so thin and soft that you could stake two on top of each other and eat it.:D

Why is it that the things that taste so good so bad for you:(

Mmm, Krispy Kremes and a Mr. Pibb, nohing could be finer.. Of course, I live in New England. Makes sense I can barely find either of them.

As for that taste factor, I think it's so that we all end up tiring of them. Oh well.

Ha ha rob I got some Mr. Pibb when we were down there!!!

Come to think of it I don't even remember where I got it I just remember I got it........No wait now I remember, it was during breakfast in the Orlando airport!!!!

The Florida vs. New England connection:

I see a patern here.

In the doughnuts the words both begin with the same letters K & D and in the drinks, both of them have titles!!!!

And Andy, you only saw me there on one of the four early morning visits we made! 12 dozen for each visit, foru visits, that comes to 576 doughnuts. And they lasted a grand total of about 30 minutes in the pits! (and created a serious doughnut hole in my wallet!)

The best proof that what I have been saying to you all is completely true is that on the day we saw Andy at the Krispy Kreme, we arrived back in the pits about ten minutes before we did. As we are handing out Krispy Kremes, we heard several times "I just had one from Team 45." But every time that was followed by "but I will have another one (or two)."

Just can't get enough of those Krispy Kremes.
