Looks like a gearbox design, though a few parts look like they don't engage each other...

Do I see a hopper/shooter combo? And you might want to remove notes like "1.0 FLY GEAR" before adding teasers.

::sigh:: AHHH BAD DRAWING ALERT!!!
One word of advice. Use ordinate dimensioning style when making something like that. Not one machinist will be able to make this part as effectively and as quickly for you if you use the dimension style you did. Basically what ordinate dimensions are, is givng a X, and Y coordinate point to all centerrs of circles, center of arcs, and line end points. As for the reference dimension. That is also a bad practice to dimension from outer diameter to outer diameter. It's nice for space considerations, but for machinig purposes, it's horrible. Dimension your circles to the center point always. Elgin (CAD Master by trade, and by industry standards as well.) |

I feel underestimated! Do you really think we didn’t add the 1.0 flygear note on purpose? And if you did look at the drawing we did use ordinate dimensioning, hence the (number number). And do you think those are really outer diameters? They might be holes or just reference circles. This is a teaser! Its not supposed to make sense until you truly understand it!

That is called "Dimension Overkill". I would get an F if I drew that in my Autocad Class. :rolleyes:

Re: pic: 279-Teaser Version 1.1
I see a very badly dimensioned drawing that would drive any drafting teacher or engineer crazy!!!!

I'm with Elgin on this one. Wow I can't even type here what I would say to one of my draftsman if they handed that to me.
