Doubts about Gyro Temp

Hi,

I'm a little concerned about my gyro sensor... I've never noticed that it works with it's pic in a ultra-super-high temperature... :ahh:

Does your gyro works in high temperature too? Is it normal?? Or there's an evil short-circuit that i can't see??

thanks,

Giovane

Re: Doubts about Gyro Temp

How are you determining that your gyro is getting hot?
If you're using the temperature output, make sure you are converting the output correctly. Room temperature should be ~2.5V, which corresponds to 298 degrees K, or 25 degrees C. A difference of 8.4mV will equal +/- 1 degree K (or C).
