validation issue

Hi everyone...

I have a problem with validation our website...

I entered
http://validator.w3.org/
in order to validate the website but any time I try to check it, I get the massage:
Result: Failed validation,
what can I do to fix it?

It should give you a list of problems with the site... look further down.

Re: validation issue

One thing you may want to check is to change the code for the copyright symbol to ©

Hope that helps...

I'm not sure exactly how you did it or what the validation failure page looked like, and I don't know how that problem could be caused, but here are a few things to check for:

-make sure that the URL you post includes "http://"
-if something like "http://www.exampe.com" doesn't work, try http://www.example.com/index.html" (or whatever the page is). I don't know if that would ever make a difference
-if using the extended interface, use "detect automatically" before choosing a certain encoding or doctype
-if uploading, make sure filename follows rules (no spaces, no weird symbols, proper extension) and don't put php in the file
-if access to the web page through the validator is somehow prohibited, upload the file instead

Some of those are just guesses, but who knows if they might help.

If you want, you can send me the url or the files to be validated (worldbringer@yahoo.com); I'll see if I can get it to work and send you the results.

I changed the copyright simbol in the page... and it appears to solve the first problem but now i get few more errors...
I know to how to fix most of the errors, if i ran into more errors i let you know and i'll post them in this thread...

I just realized that you meant that the page didn't pass validation...I had thought you meant that the validation itself didn't work. Haha. Silly me.
