First, you need to shrink that sig. Do you really need that much space added to every post?
Second: COOL!! We talked about doing something like that, but chickened out. How well does it work? How long does it take to reset the arm (or foot)? Nice use of pneumatics and mechanical advantage. I wish I could see it work -- you aren't coming to Portland by any chance, are you? |

How far does the ball go?

Re: pic: Team 1501's shooter...errr kicker
I honestly don't mean to ruin it. Its either my eyes are wierd or there's a blurr behind the ball inferring that someone threw the ball towards the paddle. Hmmm....

We created it mostly so the Colts wouldn't need Vanderjagt anymore...turned out that we can use it for Aim High. :)
That thing woulda won the Colts the game, too....... :p |

Looks great! Love that Indiana engineering!! If you end up not using it in your final design, I hope that you will have it on display at the Boilermaker Regional.

Higher-end cameras, however, get around that by having the flash at the end of the exposure. This feature isn't on normal cameras because it's hard to impliment. It's pretty hard to sync things properly when you're working with times that are fractions of 100ths of seconds. |

Right now the balls go wide right :ahh: It's a Colts thing :D

Finished robot should be able to really kick accurately. At least that's what we hope. Kicking isn't really the problem, it's the reset. Everything we have tried hasn't helped get us any closer. |

One of our main engineers designs and build walking robots. You saw a sample of it from my second posting of our walking robot. |
