Special Made Collars!

Ok, we were building the gearboxes and using the how to build it video, the latest one. Around the end everything was fine when they told us we needed to place this "special made collar" around this shaft of this motor or whatever. Well we speant about 2 or 3 hours looking around on the internet/list of parts/parts scatttered on table that we received in the kit. Well pretty much its like theres no such thing. I've looked everywhere and I cant find any specifications or anything to make it or buy one. Anyone have any idea where we can find one or get some specs to atleast make it lol. At the moment we're using another gear so it works fine and all but I must know about this mysterious "special made collar"!

If you are talking about the "nipple" you can make one out of 1" PVC.

Wow thats such a simple answer for something thats been bugging me for some time. Lol, honestly not sure what the "nipple" is, but 1" PVC makes sense to me, so yes I guess I am talking about the nipple. Thanks.

Well actually, I'm not sure if thats the real name for it, or something I just think is the real name for it. Either way, its the small spacer between the housing of the gearbox and the sprocket sitting on the output shaft.

Re: Special Made Collars!

Well we had the same problem last year and our solution to it was to use the other gear they gave us and put them both on one gearbox and we ordered 2 more for the other box. This year we didn't even need the spacer because we had the wheels and gears and everything closer to the gearbox. Its just good to know just in case we really need it in the next years to come. Also it was realy bothering me.
