Pre-Competition Events
 
Is there any teams out there having Pre-Competition Events to test robots. If so where and when and what time. Let this be the thread to discuss this!

Charger Robotics (537) out of Sussex, Wisconsin is hosting a pre-ship scrimmage on Sunday, February 19th from noon until 4:00pm. Great opportunity to test out your robot and tweak any problems prior to shipping it.

Teams need to sign up ahead of time for the event.

TIME SLOTS: Space is limited to 15 teams each for 2 shifts. In order to accommodate everyone, we ask you to sign up for one shift, either 9:30 am-1:30 pm, or 1:30 pm-4:30 pm.. Please advise asap!!! Email me at: Robotstoo@aol.com with your preferred shift. First come, first served until the space is filled.

HELP IS NEEDED: Let me know if you can assist. We will need set-up, wrap-up and people to greet and inform both on the play floor and in a VIP room. February 17, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for set-up. February 18 from 5 to 6:30 for teardown. Tools and training provided.

Directions and other specifics will be sent out closer to the date.

Every year my team has gone to Chatsworth high school for a pre-ship scrimmage, but this year we are going to San Diego for a scrimmage.

San Diego needs a regional!!!!!!!

This year the Preship usually held at CHS will be held at Birmingham HS, its going to be hosted by team 4.

Greetings from Team 48! Hopefully the build season is going well for you. This is just a reminder that we will be hosting our fifth annual Pre-Ship Event on Saturday, February 18, 2006. The agenda is as follows:



Where: Warren G. Harding High School - Small Gym, Full Playing Field

When: Saturday, February 18, 2006

Time : 10:00 am until 4:00 pm

Agenda: 10:00 am - 12:00 - Practice

12:00 - 1:00 pm - Lunch (provided)

1:00 pm - 4:00 pm - Competition/Scrimmage Matches

4:00 pm - Award (Certificate of Attendance)



If you are planning on attending please contact us by February 10th with your confirmation and with the number of people that will be attending so that we can prepare lunches.

Winter War Zone (formerly the UTC Scrimmage) will be hosted by FRC Team 176 Aces High, and will be held on Saturday, February 18 at the Suffield MIDDLE School. More information can be found on the New England FIRST Website at: http://nefirst.org/community/teams/176ScrimmagePage

Team 25 is having a VERY informal rally on Sunday the 19th for NJ area teams. We will have a partial field and teams will be able to try out the new babies. So far we have 6 attending.

If your team is interested PM me and we can set it up.

Here's more inforomation, the event is on Saturday the 18th, at Freedom High School, (2500 Taft-Vinland Road, Orlando, FL. 32837, MapQuest it if you can't find it). Nope, but DC isn't that far. Today was the annual pre-ship scrimmage at the National Building Museum. It's really fun. We have teams from PA, VA, MD, and DC there. And it's a blast (or a realization point) depending on where you are in the building stage.
