Track Infrared Spots
Hi,
I am trying to track infrared spots with CMU cam 2. These spots are generated using a reflector (like those used on road sign). I have some problems to detect IR light because lens filters out most of the IR light. A small part of them can be detected but not enough to be recognized as an object. So i would like to know if someone have already done something like that or could have an idea of which technique should i use to do it thks Romik PS: Except CMU cam2GUI, are there other compiled programs |
Re: Track Infrared Spots
You could buy a lens without an IR filter.
The CMUcam2 with the OV7620 imager uses an S-mount (M12x0.5 thread) lens with a 1/3" imager, and there are many lenses with various FOVs, materials, and IR filters available. http://www.beyondlogic.org/imaging/camera1.htm to get you started. |
