Wicked Awesome Kristen...
Team 131 and your 'rents are pleased with your award. let's face it, we are always pleased with your actions.

Thanks for jumping back on 131 this year in an attempt to stop it from sinking.

Hope to run into you at the Championship

Hmmm it has been quite a while since I first met Kristen Kelso about 10 River Rages ago. I can't think of very many people who match the intensity of Kristen Kelso when it comes to FIRST. Kristen's contributions to all aspects of FIRST and the countless teams she's interacted with are too numerous to name. I think what makes Kristen unique among the community is that for as long as I've known her she has been a true believer in the mission of FIRST, to change the lives of kids. Although maybe she just likes doing "homework" I don't know. Someday I will figure out where she gets her supply of unending energy.

Congrats Kristen!!

Congrats KJK! I've been lucky enough to work with you the past 5 years and I cannot say enough about your dedication and passion for FIRST. You have inspired so many people to not only continue/become involved in FIRST but to share the excitement that you do for the program and for engineering. From taking the lead role in the UNH FLL competition to coming back and spreading the CHAOS spirit and pride to the next generation of CHAOS kids, you never cease to amaze me. I have no doubt in my mind that there will be a 3rd generation of Kelso's (perhaps a little josh) to receive this honor. I think it will be a challenge for anyone to live up to the Kelso name especially since I'm sure that there's still alot you've yet to accomplish. Congrats again Kristen! :yikes:

Kristen

I've met you a few years back and since knowing you and the things you do, it really is amazing. You inspired me to keep on trucking along. I know I can't do as much as you do. You have done so much good and you simply deserve this award from the work with the RCU to the teams you mentor. You are one of the greatest people in FIRST. Congrats and thank you for all that you have done!!

congratulations Kristen!!!! For years you have been part of the foundation that makes the northeast so great in FIRST! Day after day I hear from young girls on FIRST teams in that area how wonderful you are and how great what you do is. You are not just another girl in FIRST. You are one of the girls whom everyother girl looks up to. Your success breeds greatness.

Thank you for all you have done!

Re: UFH: Kristen Kelso

(darnit... Kristen was highlighted during a very busy time for all of us)

Kristen Kelso is definitely a hero in FIRST. My 3 daughters simply adore her. Kristen is one of the young role models within FIRST, for her mentoring, leadership, and longevity. She has done much to keep women involved in FIRST and provide a means for "chicks" to support each other across the community. Any father with daughters would be estatic if their kids grow up to be like Kristen.

Kristen, Dave, and Nancy Kelso are some of the best people in FIRST. If you are at an event with 131 and you don't go out of your way to meet the Kelsos, then you are missing out.

Andy B.
