MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!

The dates for the 2006 IRI have been set:

July 21 and 22
Lawrence North High School (same location)
Entry Fee - $350
May 1 - Registration begins
July 1 - Full payment & Confirmation Due

We are already planning some changes and improvements,
and enhancing what makes the IRI such a unique, exciting event.

Who knows what will happen -
But you might want to stay current on action movies for some
of the 'non-robot' events....

We will have a silent auction for a local charity again -
so keep your eyes open for unique FIRST items that you
can donate to such a great cause -

Team 25 will most definitely make the 12 hour venture out to Indy again.

Every year I say I will make it to IRI and it never happens. So...consequently...

I will be at IRI unless

1) I'm in Greece or Spain
2) I have some college orientation thing to go to
3) I'm on my deathbed or something

Awesome! Now I can start making my college tour plans! I don't think my team is planning on attending but I'm almost positive i'll be there.

If I'm not there, I got the MTU Summer Activities Counselor job and am taking kids hiking/teaching/performing skits/etc. ... or dying.

Ogre and I couldn't go last year because of reason #1. If I have enough money, I'm coming this year. I'll ride over with Bharat and Corey if it gets that deperate ;)

Horrible excuses Genia, all of them. ;)

I. Am already. Excited. Because this will not interfere with my trip to Turkey in the least. And as for colleges, well, the way I see it is this: IRI is once per year, college lasts all year. I'm going to have to say that the score for this bad boy is IRI: 1, College: 0.

If you want to be added to an IRI email distribution, please send your team name, your name and contact email to robotinfo@att.net

Please limit to one contact per team.

We will post info here on CD and the IndianaFIRST web site, but will also email updates to teams that want to get info that way.

Unless there is some sort of freak occurence... I will be there!

I love the fact that it will once again be on my birthday. (Although I was completely mortified when they dragged me onstage at the talent show and sang for me... lol)

I had such an amazing time last year, and I definitely want to do it again. If my team isn't there, I will be sure to volunteer. IRI is one of the best run offseason events I have ever attended.
