Website submission question

I am just wondering, after our team submits the website, can we still make changes to it (Ex. updating the news)?

Thanks in advance...

Re: Website submission question

I made news updates and such after submitting last year and still got a Website Excellence Award, so I think it's ok.

From 9.7.1
Quote:

websites must be
completed and functioning by the date of submission.
You might wanna Q & A the update part

But i think that rule applies to the design and main content. Adding a picture or updated a news article on how far your team is on the robot or something i think would be ok

Re: Website submission question

Of course there's nothing wrong with updating it or even adding new features. There's no such thing as a completed site. Having said that, we all know what a functioning website is. FIRST has instituted a deadline to make it clear when teams need to be ready to be judged, nothing more. Remember that the award is decided upon well before the regional even takes place. In other words, be ready by then, or else.
