Selling a mishmash of mini ad spaces on a single Web page for $1 per pixel earns one student nearly $1 million in four months. I admire this kid so much. I believe it was a british student who didnt have enough money for school so he was laying down and though of an idea and he came up with this idea where buisness, etc., can buy advertise there company or whatever. He made $1 million dollars from this within four months. It cost $1 per square (per pixel). Its really cool. I would never have enough intellegence to think of doing something like this.

I wouldn't call it intelligence as much as I would call it luck. In order for his business model to work he needed to get some high-profile investors right off the bat. What did these investors get for investing hundreds or possibly thousands of dollars? A GIF image with the hope that the site makes it big, if not than the money is wasted.

The hype about the site will wear down in a couple months or so and people will stop visiting it, then the companies that did buy ad space would realize the money would've been much better spent in an intelligent Adsense campaign.

yeah but the thing is he did make like a million bucks off it. just for a little idea lol

I tried to go to the webpage at school, which has some serious ad-blockers. The page loaded and that was displayed was a white page with the words "Advertisement Removed". That made my day :D
