OK, some numbers are in. This year, we have a 10% jump in entries. Over 30% of teams have nominated a Woodie Flowers Award candidate. Yes, you ARE better at this than past student leaders, and your mark has been made. Great job! Andy B. |
Re: ATTENTION STUDENT LEADERS - Submit your Woodie Flowers Awards
Alright, time to dredge up one of the many threads I have bookmarked from when I go on adventures through CD using the Spotlit posts (I highly recommend it if you're bored).
The words of this thread certainly stand the test of time. There are only two things in this thread that need updating: 1)The deadline for this year's WFA submissions is Thursday, February 18th 11:59 PM EST 2)This thread details Amanda Morrison's offer to help you edit your submission this year. I also recommend you check out this thread and the linked white paper for some great advice (again thanks to Amanda) on writing up your Woodie Flowers Award entry. We are now just less than 2 weeks away from the submission deadline for the Woodie Flower's award, so read and digest the amazing words of wisdom in this thread, then get moving on that WFA entry for your most Valuable/Important/Inspirational/Awesome mentor! *puts "steer students towards this thread" and "remind students to write WFA entry for a mentor other than me" on ToDo list* |
