Keyspan USA-19HS adapter Help
My team has purchased a Keyspan USA-19HS adapter to use with our laptop to load code onto our robot...
We have installed the adapter and its drivers. Windows Recognizes it perfectly. But the Loader that came with easy c doesnt. Every attept to use com port 2 (we have tried 4 as well) returns "unable to open port!". Does anyone know how to solve this problem? I know that there are people who have gotten it working. Thanks in advance Ben übergeeks programmer |
Re: Keyspan USA-19HS adapter Help
That's the same adapter I have, it should have the Keyspan USB Serial Assistant included on the driver CD, it will tell you what port the adapter has and if it's "Idle" or in use. If it's in use look for extraneous copies of IFI Loader, try a reboot and try the port monitor utility available from sysinternals.com to find out what's using it.

Re: Keyspan USA-19HS adapter Help
In Control Panel -> System -> some tab -> Hardware/Device Manager
Look for the adapter, and it will tell you what com port it is on. Mine is always on com port 5. |
