Vanilla Coke..good? bad?
 

Don't know if they have it out everywhere yet, but here we have this new Vanilla Coke stuff. Anyone else tried it yet? I think it's pretty good. Tates kinda like vanilla-flavored coffee to me. I dunno. It's real sweet and farely good..no where as good as Dew, though..oh well..

It doesnt come out here till Wednesday (or atleast thats what the 2 page article in our paper said today)...

We have a Coca-Cola bottling factory here in my town and the person they interviewed from Coca-Cola said that he expects it to be almost as big as Diet Coke...

Jones soda makes a vanilla soda, not sure if it tastes like vanilla coke. Jones isnt a very big company and sure isnt around my town, www.jonessoda.com its good stuff

mmm.... did everyone try the soda at Epcot from different countries? I went back to that place several times. Watermelon soda = YUM!:p

I've been drinking Vanilla Coke for years!!! Everytime I go to Denny's or Steak N Shake I get a Coke with Vanilla. I can't believe they're finally bringing it out for real now!! Very smart of them!! Also that Jones Cola is really good. I was going through a store while at Nats and I saw it, it was like $1.25 a bottle and I had to try the Cream Soda and the GREEN APPLE soda. VERY VERY GOOD!!! So all in all... try Green Apple and Vanilla sodas... good stuff.

BTW... what's the Pepsi Blue stuff?? A blue-berry Pepsi much like the Mountain Dew Code Red (cherry)??

Well in Oklahoma and surrounding areas there are gas stations called "Quik Trip" or just QT around here, and they have cherry and vanilla in the soda fountain in the back so you can mix your own drink and syrup to you liking (or as i like to do just get a cup of vanilla, but dont tell anyone) i take it that they dont have this everywhere? well they should anyway, its awesome

That just sounds too sweat, kinda like sugar covered sugar with a caramel sauce with a sprinkling of sugar on top.

Ive been making vanilla coke for years...so thats a good thing

Anyone remember clear pepsi? It was good...but they had to pull it off the market because an ingrediant caused cancer? (I think)

'bout three months ago my friend/teammate (LIRudie on C.D.) and I got bored at the mall one day, and as we were near broke at the time we decided to go to the market research place and get paid to take a survey. So my friend gets to go into a little booth and answers questions on the effectiveness of a new advertisement for a concept soda called "Pepsi Blue." 15 minutes later, our reward is $5 and two bottles of this new Pepsi Blue to "test out at home."

Let me tell you.. it's bloody nasty-tasting.

Think, like, carbonized hawaiian punch. But not the good red flavor, blue flavor. It literally is blueberry and raspberry soda. And I thought Crystal Pepsi was a stupid idea...

(Oh yeah, and Jones Cherry. Makes you feel warm all over.)

blue pepsi looks like windex. if i ever drunk that, i'd think i was drinking windex! whee! cleaning my stomach at the same time! :-P

I think Pepsi Blue and VC both might be pretty good...

We'll have to see when they come out.

I prefer Pepsi brands myself. Pepsi and Mountain Dew/Code Red are my favorites. But as I previously mentioned, that Jones Cola makes really good sodas. To me Coke has too much carbonation... it has like a foam head on it and a bad after taste where as Pepsi doesn't.

i'm glad we're a Coke school. :D i wouldn't be able to survive in student assistant or independant studdies. Coke should make Blue Coke cause i HATE pepsi.

Pepsi only for me, we are a Pepsi school, thank god, it tastes like Coke was made from chemicals left over from window whipper fluid.

Our whole team has a diet dr pepper addiction, lets put it this way, it was at least a 12 pack per day, per person. You have to write you name on your cans or they will be gone in half an hour. 2 of our 6 "tool coolers" were compelatly full of soda, and then we had a pile out in the trailer. Maybe we need a support group or something, but hey the new diet cans have spiderman on them, so its pretty freaking cool!

but the whole vanilla coke sounds yummy...but the pepsi blue is a bit weird.....what did everyone think of the lemon coke and pepsi when that came out???? personally, i usually get diet coke with lemon at resteraunts...so it was the same, and is pretty good...

Hmm.. Dew is from Pepsi. Have to go with Pepsi.

My mom bought me and my brother a vanilla coke last night and it.....wasn't as good as getting it at a restaurant. It tastes kind of flat and...I don't know, I usually like it but it was pretty bad. I think it should stay where you add the vanilla after you have the pop out of the can/pop tower...whatever... That's my opinion

so much for this thread staying on topic..lol..oh well..my school's a coke school but I prefer Pepsi/Dew..but I'm getting somewhat used to a Cherry Coke daily 2nd block..not too too bad..best soda's got to be Publix Black Cherry soda, though..yummy stuff, but 'ya gotta live in the south where there are Publix stores to get it..

Ok back to the topic.....

Yesterday after school i stopped at a few gas stations in search of this new Vanilla Coke. After my second stop i found it and bought a bottle...

After the bottle tried to explode on me, i drank it and was quite surprised...This stuff is actually pretty good and i plan to purchase it more ofter (rather than regular coke)

Sounds good, but I can't wait untill the new Dr. Pepper comes out :D !

Vanilla coke... a sweet taste of original coca cola, with a ting, then an aftertaste of vanilla along with lasting carbonation... its wonderful a new kick in the coke generation. pepsi blue on the other hand ecccccccccccccccchh!!

vanilla coke just coming out near you ??? thats crazy weve had it up here in canada for ages ( or it seems like it ) and im pretty sure pepsi blue is out up here too ... i know that it took some more time for diet coke to come out ...

i dont know if its out in the US, but canada has pepsi vanilla as well .. im waiting for the diet pepsi vanilla to come out ... but from what ive heard vanilla coke is better ....

/edit: just realized how old this thread actually is and that US has had vanilla coke for a while too ...

Vannilla Pepsi???? Sounds new to me, im sceptable about both. Ive tried the vannilla coke before, eh, it was ok. I dunno, im a sprite fan.

It's ok - Pepsi is just sooo much better than coke all around. Even in the flavor department. Coke is just too sweet for me...

I'll drink either Coke or Pepsi and I like the vanilla Coke, but not enough to drink it every day. I haven't had a chance to try the vanilla Pepsi yet. As for it being originally available in Canada first I can believe it. Canada has different food laws and some things are available there before they're here. The company I work for bought out a Canadian company and now when our people come back from there they bring back stuff I've never heard about or even knew existed! Have you ever heard about "ketchup Doritos"?! :p

They're from Canada. I've seen ketchup, mustard, dill pickle, and all sorts of weird potato chip flavors up there.
