Inserting Audio into 3ds MAX

Our animation was going nice and smoothly; but, we ran into a brick wall. The video editor we were using, adobe premier, renders to .mov files that are way too bug and on top of that don't work.

The only other option was to edit it in max. But we are having problems adding audio to the animation. I've tried using the track and inserting sounds. But, when I click to use the sound, the sound just won't show up. Can someone tell me the step by step process in putting audio into the animation with max?

what type of audio file are you using?
