A little code optimization and mechanical tweaks here and there and we should have our pretty much final robot and code.

dude, ira, i mean c'mon we are totally done...forget the autonomus code...pssh who needs that...jkjk.

we built team 33's 2004 transmission from their excellent white paper. It runs great, and the problem is in the code (they don't shift simultaneously) we're fixing it with a new pneumatics setup

I suppose we're doing alright. Ball collection and shooter feed done, elcetronics done, shooter 90% done, code, probably done (without autonomous), but the turret and hopper are not even started. Frustration=1.

Autonomous could possibly be the hardest part!

Mechanically....we're almost done minus a few things that are still "quick fixes", some tweaking of components, and some sensors and the like we need to add. As for programing, the robot runs, but we still have some sensors and the like to program and autonomous to work on. I'd say we are overall around 90% done (and doing well wieght wise).

Eh, I hope not. Most of our operation should be automatic, so its (for the most part), just moving the functions. Again, I hope!

Mechanically we are 95% done, drove the robot today and picked up 20+ balls flawlessly (look for video tonight), all conveyor belts are done, cannon is 75-80% built, should be on the robot tomorrow. Tested the robot for the first time tonight, found a few things to fix, but as I said the robot picked up the balls wonderfully. Code and autonomous is a work in progress though.

We are this far from completion:

(not to scale)

Re: crunch time

I think it is difficult to say how far along we are at this point because everything still needs to come together. We had some parts out sourced that will be in tomorrow, and hopefully we can put everything together. I'd say overall we're only 60% done, because of the major obstacles we've had to overcome...25 inches of snow didn't help either...hehe

good luck to everyone in the final push, we've made it so far! :)
