US Patent No. Seven Million goes to FIRST Mentor!
The US Patent Office has issued Patent No. 7,000,000 today. The inventor is John O'Brien, who works for DuPont, and is a mentor on MOE 365.
The patent claims new polysaccharide fibers that are "cotton-like" fibers derived from biologically based renewable resources, such as corn. They are biodegradable and suitable for use in textiles. If you are at the Pittsburgh or Philly regional, or at Atlanta, say congratulations to Mr 7,000,000! |

Congratulations John!
Does this mean that next year, Moe will be wearing Sorona shirts? (I see the Fastextile site is already taking on a Moe-green shade) |
