All right...I have to ask this. Are there any obsessive and/or underground Weezer fans in FIRST anywhere out there? I saw Weezer on May 7, 1997 (they were on tour with No Doubt when they were a rock/punk/ska band) and I've been in love with them ever since. Weezer has some of the best nerd rock ever. "I've got a Dungeon Master's Guide...I've got a 12-sided die...I've got Kitty Pride...and Nightcrawler too..." Rivers Cuomo is so my Geek God of Love. Leave a post if you love Weezer Rock Music!

Maybe Weezer was good back in the day, but now.. ugh.. Your "nerd rock" isn't nerdy anymore.. its in which makes it cool, and then suddenly, it dosn't have the same meaning anymore. heh....

i used to like them like crazy, and didnt realise who they were. Off their Pinkerton CD I had heard El Nino on the radio, and ghetto tape recorded it, I listened to it all the time. Now they have even more to amuse me with, I LOVE it

Weezer is definately cool. I remember listening to Pinkerton and people asking me why I'd listen to stuff like that. Then again, I was the first of my circle of friends to pick up system of a down.

Buy Maladroit. It's not pop, mostly. It's nearly as good (and as dark) as Pinkerton in my opinion. If you didn't know this, the quote on the inside cover of The Green Album is from an Italian Opera, and it translates to, "we return to the ancient one, but we will progress." In other words, green album = attempt at blue album, and maladroit = getting better and back to the good life of pinkerton. Yeah I'm a freak and I actually studied and researched Weezer for an english report. Ask me anything. :p

Wow, I do love weezer! Even though their best stuff was their older stuff....I was humming "el scorcho" all throughout nats!
