HELP needed, problem with streamling, need uploading space or diffrent solution...
to make a long story short between 5pm saturday and 7am wendsday I only slept one time for about 12 hours, weve been working on our rendering which got jammed, lots of problem...anyways
after uploading a crappy file around 10am pst monday (this was like our 3rd try), the file became corrupted, or something I can't really remember now with all that's been going on we got an extension from autodesk and we simply could not upload a file correctly, infact for the past 18 hours i've been working solely on the purpouse of uploading it, and it dosen't work, finally im back home right now I made a .rar of our file which is around 80mb... our movie is 134mb and we can't seem to upload it anymore since the streamling says weve reached our limit (our folder is empty), which means streamline is now completely blocked (not even .txt is uploadable)... I want to send the guys at autodesk a link to my 80mb file (.rar) so they can view it (or even my 134mb file if possible), it's all ready and we simply can't upload it, I'm gonna stay awake as much as possible waiting for an answer... I even called Brett Wright on the phone (long distance for Israel this costs...$@#$@#$@#$@# this should cost a lot) and left a message with my e-mail and phone-number, if anyone has any ideas on how to help me I'd greatly appreciate it. my details if you wish to contact me (please do): E-mail\MSNM:nimmysonny@yahoo.co.uk ICQ:96992375 any way to upload such a big file? thanks guys for your help! *coffee time!* P.s. (for the mods) I put this on general forum because of the exposure allthough im not sure if it should be on the animation forum...anyways...do as you see fit |
Re: HELP needed, problem with streamling, need uploading space or diffrent solution...
this is odd, but not unheard of (a number of other teams have had trouble uploading this year). The maximum file size is 250mb if i rmember correctly, and i've seen animations on there with more than 300mb, so filesize shouldn't be the problem. From what you're describing, it's not your fault, and Autodesk is usually very good about extentions for extenuating circumstances. best of luck

Nimmy, don't forget that a CD in an international express envelope might be more reliable than the Internet. Good luck!

yeah they gave me the extension and all but after it got corrupted (WHY did that keep happening???) and I tried again, they blocked streamline (for everyone from I can see from the message), for now ill stay awake a few extra hours (got a driving lesson at 6pm so I need some sleep-time),go to bed and i'll to call them again...
man this past 18 hours look like they went by in a flash, but my body dosen't feel the same as my mind...*yawns* |
