out of curiosity did you try to buff/scotch brite these black pieces before they went to anodizing?

Yeah, we used some fine grit sandpaper to smooth out some surface imperfections in all the anodized parts.

In retrospect, it probably would have been better to deal with the imperfections and get a mostly uniform finish with the anodization, rather than the scratching on the parts.

It still looks pretty sweet, especially without the reflection of the camera flash.

Yeah... I'd like to, but I've got freaking 12 hours in travel coming up before shipdate that I've gotta do. We'll see if I can fit in some sleep on Tuesday or something. Take it easy, dude.

(We did happen to take a two hour nap break at around 5:30 AM today)
