Well, at least they still have a shot at winning the cup :D

Well DJ....how can you talk about the wings losing either way?

We may have an old team, but we still stomped your'e team into the ground. So maybe, your'e team is screwed either way, as being a young team, it's easy to show them who's boss *cough* game 7 *cough*. Plus, as I recall, your'e team has already lost...so it's screwed no matter what.

Yes its sad, but true

FINAL THOUGHT

Anyway, like I said earlier, Colorado played like crap and game 7 was a total disgrace to the state of Colorado, it was a terrible way to go, but Colorado has the upcomming talent and plenty of youth to cover in the future once Joe Sakic and Patrick Roy hang up the skates

REAL Final Thought

Yeah that last reply was out of impulse and frustration...after thinking about it I figured out what I really want to say..

I have no reason to blame the players of Detroit, they are doing nothing wrong, they have a ton of talent on that team, even though they are aged...You have to have one good owner to get Dominick Hasek, Sergi Federov, Steve Yzerman, and many others on a team together....In a radical way, I basically said in previous posts, that Detroit will spend forever rebuilding...once their superstars retire, get traded, or move on as free agents, Detroit will have a big gap to fill. The only complaint about Detroit is the strategy of the Front Office...They come close to the salary cap by filling the team with heavy talent...the problem, most of them are on their way out of the NHL in a few years....The owners of Detroit are going to disapoint their fans when this happens, becuase you cannot rebuild a team to what they were, no matter what kind or how good of owner you are. Colorado is playing it smart by sacrificing a few stanley cups this year and most likely next year, but they still will be a top contender and when they finally get their act together and stop relying on the goalie to carry them they will become a very strong team..

Why?
Their roster has a wide variety of age, and they have some good young men who are going to make it big and possibly be the next Dominick Hasek, Patrick Roy, Steve Yzerman, and Joe Sakic...

Summary
Detroit has a great team right now, but the front office isn't planning their future really well...Colorado's owners could teach them a lesson or two. Once Detroit's superstars retire, the fans will be disapointed when they aren't as good for the next few years

Good Luck to Detroit and Carolina, and may the best team on the ice win.

Finally:

To Matt Attallah, Dan Levin, Dave Hurt, and whoever else I angered with my thoughts, I apologize, lets put this childish arguement behind us and move on...
