student running the show

Are there actually teams out there that are totally run by students and a teacher to just sit there.....maybe a few mentors to assist? I was just wandering how the teams are structured? Does your mentor make all the decisions with students sitting around or is it the other way around? Or have you found the perfect balance?

I don't think my team has found the perfect balance yet, though our decision making process has changed from last year (when our mentors took charge since we were mostly all rookies). But then again, you know this since we're on the same team... lol

no, absolutely not. Our team is too small to finish a robot in 6 weeks without mentors doing work. Usually 3 to 4 students and 2-5 mentors. That and we have a very lazy team.
