This year ours is named

Miss Daisy V

You know we name it miss daisy every year, this would be our 5th although it is our seventh robot(the first two years we had some other names)

It's from the movie Spaceballs, with Rick Moranis, Bill Pullman, John Candy, and the master of comedy himself, Mel Brooks.

The sad part is that I have entire parts of that movie comitteed to memory... May the Schwartz be with all of you and your robots! :D

110 to Ground only because our team is called "The Short Circuts" and it really is like a short circut for us because of all the problems that we faced

Ours is called X-O X-Cat.
Our team theme this year is K.I.S.S. I.T.! (Keep It Super Simple In Technology) and to tie the robot name with the theme and to team spirit we named the bot X-O X-Cat

Tommy, The Pinball Wizard. Not only does it shoot balls and has a flipper for a trigger, it has tie ins to our main mentor/sponsor and another mentor. However, he's not very wizardly at the moment. The team seemed to think you could tune all the software and test the autonomous in two hours.

yes. The fabric being held up is to go on the rear bumper, and will look similar to the side bumper below

This year we have dubbed our 'bot "The Devils' Ice Cube".
Our team name is the Robo Devils, and our bot does look much like an ice cube, so put two and two together and wham! Our ice cube.

Team 135 has named our robot "Adrian von Bobots"
