Anytime's a good time

You know you're a firstaholic when you notice the date and time and realize that they are the numbers of FIRST teams.

What time is it? Metal in Motion

What day is my book report due? Alpha Omega

Yeah, whenever I look at speed limits or numbers on commercial products I sometimes remember the teams that go behind them.
Sheesh. My pyschiatrist is going to have a field day with this one. ;-)

Rob Colatutto 20-05-2002 19:03

lol, i always do that with page numbers and change when i buy things

Keith Chester 20-05-2002 19:05

That's it. We're all doomed.
Better create a support group now...

Krystine T. 20-05-2002 19:30

Yeah.. its pritty bad when you hear a team # os see something that has nothing to do with FIRST
I Agree we need a F.A.A (first aholics anonymous):)

Suike 20-05-2002 20:14

Yea I do that as well. My friends will be like, "What time is it?" and I'll say, "It's 3:12." and then we all laugh and everyone else looks at us funny. I love FIRST! :)

srawls 20-05-2002 20:47

yay, i'm not alone! :D yeah, i do that to everything. when i'm walking home from school i pass by house numbers 116 (herndon team), 118 (robonauts), and a few others. when we're in math espicially, i hear numbers and i think robots. it's only going to get worse with the withdrawal of the offseason. at least we're thinking about going to an off-season comp this summer, but that might just make it worse :)

And here I was, wondering what they meant when they said this program was addictive....

Srawls, where in the US are you? We're hosting a competition and only 5 teams have signed up.... we'd be glad to have ya.

Rob Colatutto 20-05-2002 21:04

where are you hosting a competition?

Keith Chester 20-05-2002 21:07

right here in good old North Brunswick New Jersey

srawls 20-05-2002 21:08

our team is down in VA. new jersey isn't that far away i guess, i'll just have to rally up support in our team. right now we're thinking about going to one in south carolina, but that's by no means official or final

Rob Colatutto 20-05-2002 21:09
