FIRST for everything!
 

Wow there has been a lot of firsts this year for our team, let me list a few of them, some of them isn't something to be proud of but here it goes..

-I'm the FIRST president that has been a junior
-FIRST time we had the robot actually finished before the ship date or before the Preship event
-FIRST to have the bot under the weight limit by 30 lbs..
-FIRST to have a student watching the bot be shipped
-FIRST to have NO GIRLS coming to regional (why?!?!?!?!?!?!?)
-FIRST to have such an awesome control panel... heheh u'll see
-FIRST to build robot on autoc4d beforehand
-FIRST to team up with another school... kinda.. lol
-FIRST to have an autonomous.. well a working one anyways.. not one that just drives backwords lol into a tetra.. hahah

Heh... this sounds like fun.

FIRST year our crate was done before the robot
FIRST permacrate we've ever made
FIRST time we actually painted/decorated the crate
FIRST time our lego team ever won an actual award
FIRST time we lego mentored another team
FIRST time one of our mentors was ever mentoring us
FIRST time we SWITCHED principals mid-season
FIRST time we've had a principal who not only cared about robotics, but will actually be coming to the comp.
FIRST time we had use of this older, but really cool room with materials that simply aren't made anymore
FIRST time a freshman was our backup driver
FIRST time we didn't use any drywall screws to screw the crate closed
FIRST time we didn't use cardboard to pack the robot in the crate
FIRST time we aren't going to be in all of president's week
FIRST time we started coming in on sundays
FIRST time we had someone fall asleep in the shipping crate for over an hour...

And a lot of other firsts I can't remember.
