Re: Regional Webcasts

I wish NASA would broadcast GLR. GLR (from my biased standpoint) is probably the toughest and most competitive of the regionals. We are home to numerous Championship placing teams.

I definitely intend to watch regional webcasts from this week to know what to expect next weekend when it comes to scores and penalties.

I feel your pain. CR is a competitive regional, but it doesn't get as much attention as Detroit and Boilermaker. As a Chesapeake Regional, I'm happy that NASA's working on something to broadcast our regional over satellite TV. It's a tough regional, but a fun one. Our winning alliance fell, but other teams such as 1507 (Rookie All-Stars last year) and 175 did extremely well at nationals.

If you have DVR software on your computer, you might be able to record them directly.
Otherwise, if you have a video out port on your computer that you can connect to your VCR, you can get it on videotape. We've been taping webcasts for years this way.

Another one that should be webcast is the Philly Competiton, some say that the robots that compete here are the best in the East Coast! Work up

The RM feed is coming through great, at first I thought there was no audio but then the match started.

I'm curious as to how they're keeping score in real time? Are people just watching how many balls are being shot in?
