Here she is, the real deal, any questions? By the way, yes that is a Katapult. ;)

Looking good. I can't wait to see how this thing works. Maybe I'll catch up with you guys at the Boilermaker Regional.

Good luck this year.

Looks awesome as always! Can't wait to see it in action @ the Boilermaker Regional (hopefully). :)

That is really cool looking! Excuse the dumb question, but how does it shoot? I didn't see a shooter wheel. Does it actually catapult the balls?

YUP! The cam looking thing actually shoots the ball very gracefully. And remember there are no dumb questions! Look at pic 2 for a more detailed shooter shot.

Is the catapult on a turret? How accurate is it?

Well, last night when I operated I went 6/6 and 5/6. Keep in mind its not totally debugged, but it is pretty accurate. There is still room for tweaking, but overall I would say its good.

ps did anyone notice the new 45 logo?

I believe there will be one floating around somewhere, sometime soon.

How much practise did you guys get? And what are the specs of everything?

We got lots of drive practice, but not too much with the shooter. But, we have a second robot so that will not affect us. What type of specs?

Speed, range, the kind of things that the scouts will ask.

2-Speed AM shifter...12fps in high around 8fps in low
6WD
It can shoot from around 20 feet out.
Uses the camera.
Uses a FP planetary to a CIM planetary for shooter power.
Can go up the ramp.
Great maneuverability.

Any more?

Glad to see another high goal scoring bot not using pitcher style!

I am extremely interested in seeing a video, very interesting design. Looks like it is a single fire, lock (EDIT: The 'c' word got filtered)-and-load-and-shoot method, correct?

At first I thought you made something similar to our team's bot Ball-istic,
But upon review it looks quite different. So glad to see something different from the ordinary :)

My question mainly is: how fast is it? If it is a pull back to shoot real-deal catapult like I described before, how long is the reload time? Your system of getting balls into the shooter looks rather complex as well.

Good luck in the competition (and getting the innovation award)!
