Looks good, I like the color.

Just a small question: when was the photo taken? if you're only half finished at ship... thursday at your first regional will be "fun".

Well the picture was taken the day before we shipped, so its got a lot more on it but we are definitely gonna be busy on thursday.

One more thing: is that the final resting place for the battery? I'd be worried about it getting hit by other bots during a match...

Looks like you guys have a 2 speed, most likely dog shifter by the looks of it. Nice traction wheels too.

No, that was a temporary hook up for the grabber in the front we didnt have a speed controller for it yet so we hooked a battery straight to it. The battery is in the middle of the back you can just make out the lead in the back with the battery beneath it.

do you have any trouble turning with those wheels ? we use 4 traction wheels but have a differnt tread than that and we have found it quite difficult to turn let me know how those work for you.

Heres a link to our bot.

Good luck at the regional!

Since the Red Dragons have a wide base it makes it very easy for them to turn on the other hand your base is a long base making it harder to turn, so the problem is not so much from the wheels.

Looking good red dragrons, you guys had a great drive system in 2005 as well.

Yeah exactly what i was going to say, the more narrow and long your base is the harder it is to turn, but if you have a wide base you get a better radius that the wheels are turning on. We have always used 4 traction wheels and the only thing i have seen a problem with is faster battery drainage. But from the traction you get i think its well worthed, especially if you like to play defense.

Good luck everyone hope you do well in competition

If I see correctly- those are the two speed AndyMarks. Good choice in the drivetrain with those bulletproof AMShifters and Traction wheels. You'll be a team not to be easily pushed around.
