Said when we were demonstrating our 2010 robot, and with a broken kicker, our mentor asking if we can just ram the ball and then the ball "shoots" itself out. Somehow, Newton's third law failed us and the ball just stuck to our frame...

While my friend is cutting down a piece for the front of our robot:

Friend: So why are we doing this again?
Me: The rules say that there can be nothing outside of the frame perimeter at the beginning of the match
Friend: I am just going to imagine that I am cutting into the rules bit by bit...
