Amatul (mentor): "Liam hows the work going."
Liam (Programming lead): "I do work?"

Michael (Mechanical lead): "Tell Liam he activated my trap card."

Sometimes I don't understand what is going on!

After hearing that after school activities may be cancelled for snow: "Robotics isn't an after school activity school is a pre robotics activity"

Just last night:
Me-"Do I need to go grab the Jesus hex key?"
Another Student-"No Jesus is too big for this, we have to use Moses."

For context: I have nicknamed one of the hex keys we own "Jesus" because it is the only one that will work on the vex pro 3/32'' bolts. For some reason, nothing else fits.

Team Captain: "Hey Lestyn, how high does the robot have to climb again?"
Me: "I'm pretty certain it was 5 feet."
Team Captain: "Oh ok, so we have to climb a Morgan!"

*Just as a little background, Morgan is one of our college mentors, and she's only 5 feet tall.

So I was watching a video of another team climbing the rope. This teams robot didnt look anything like our and one student looks over my shoulder, sees it and says
"I didnt know we tested our climber yet"
i just turned my head and looked at him. I didn't know how to respond to that.

A few quotes said during our build season have been " Hold the Bluemajigger" when we were adding pocket-holes to our bumper boards. Another was "The programming has nothing wrong with it, I know because I did it"

Wow. I did a double take on your team number, because there is a very short student on out team named Morgan...

... and we have used the phrase we have to climb about one Morgan numerous times this season!
