Don't let my team know I passed this on to all of you but I was able to sneak a movie of it. It employs it's own CVT drive train and can even be used to repair the robot if it get's damaged. The only problem was how much cheese holing it took to get it on the robot. Top secret video. ;)

Ok now on the serious note. This was a great idea since we were able to quickly prototype shooter designs and to top it off we could pick up the perfect rpm. Does anyone else use shop tools for prototyping?

We actually used an electric drill to test out our pick up mechanism. Worked pretty well as a close estimate to what our actual mechanism can actually do.
