i think that what he means is that when you pick up the balls(conveyor belt/lift) how many balls can said lifter hold?

our conveyor belt can hold 3 balls at a time but if 2 go in at the same time they get stuck.

our basket can hold 15.

Our rollers are only 2 balls wide, but the most we've tested for is 6 balls in the roller assembly at once.

yes that is pretty much what I am asking Thank you for re wording my question to help others understand because I feel that some were still confused even though I attempted to clarify I believe some were and maybe still are confused...

OK perhaps I need to clarify due to confusion some people have had. The question is, if there was a clump of 30 balls (extremely unlikely) and your bot ran it over, in one pass how many would it collect? I apologize if my meaning wasn't clear enough. I think that is clear enough.

Bleh, should have read the edited question first ;)

We can only pick up one at a time.

Our pickup is wide and strong enough to pick three balls up at once, and from there they go into our hopper. The hopper was designed more to make an easy target to throw into, so it ended up big enough to hold all of the balls that will be in play, but I don't reckon that we will ever have a chance/need to carry much more than twenty at a time.
