Mike (thinking to himself): I don't care how many times anyone asks me if I'm going to sit here all night, I'm not moving until they all go home. It's not my fault I didn't see the "wet paint" sign before I sat on this bench. They should have printed it in ChiefDelphi Orange, I betcha I would have seen it then!

Actually, The Gary Dillard Rule says folks can ask me to fudge the deadline or start of a contest because of important-type stuff. Hurricanes, for example.
