The Pit Map on the First's web site still shows 4 divisions, but there is a red and a blue section for each. So it will be 4 or 8 fields.

Just noticed that. Probably four divisions. Red/Blue might be part of the location system for the volunteers or for station setup on the field. Who knows.

315 teams and counting. My list has shifted at least four times today.

I'm now thinking they'll do divisions like the pits at the events I've been to this year.

Highest and lowest numbers in A
2nd Highest and 2nd lowest numbers in B
3rd Highest and 3rd lowest numbers in C
etc...

Won't be a huge shift if they do it but something like that or a serpentine type of division selection would be nice.

There is a new opener on the FIRST website, it says 6 feilds

Yeah but hopefully itll stay that way because that puts us (1279) in with our old friends team 25 and 375, both of which we wouldnt mind playing against ( or with ;) ) again

I don't know if this is a fluke on the first website or not but the team list for the championship is no longer ordered by team number. It appears it is in some random order and if you try to sort by team number it won't let you.
