We have 2 cars, a dirt-brown '96 Pontiac Sunfire and a red '98 Pontiac Montana mini-van.

The big thing is... as of today... they are both paid off! woohoo! No more car payments!

Andy B.

Now go take that new found money and buy a decked-out 2500 Dodge Ram with the 5.7 HEMI. (Or wait until Chrysler comes out with the 6.1 HEMI) :D

Congrats man. I know how bills can be...

Yes... Anthony Towne and I are together, but it's really all about the Eclipse (sooooooo the car I want)

my cars:

last summer: '88 Chevy Celebrity Wagon
this summer: '92 Dodge Grand Caravan
car I'm thinking of buying: '94 Suburu Legacy Wagon

Keeping track in my head is just too hard. I'm going to have to devise some other system for tracking exactly how many pictures you've shown up in so far.

<<Quote>> Ohh, to the Jeep people, how many of you actually go off roading or need 4wd? My dad has a VW Vanagon Syncro Westy, yes, a rare 4wd VW, with locking rear dif, driveshaft decoupler and soon a locking front dif. Anyone in northern california want to do some off roading together? We will be nice and tow your Jeep out of the mud!

Actually, I live in an area where the winters can get pretty icy, use the 4 wheel drive a lot during that time. And I also have to go into my grandfathers pastures several times, where the 4x4 comes in handy. As for pulling the Jeep out of the mud..we seem to be more than capable of doing that ourselves, especially when most Jeeps in my area have atleast 33 inch or 38 inch tires on 'em...

:D

I'd take that quoted challenge in my STOCK grand cherokee (ZJ) with the qudra-track.

If ya can some to the MI area - or the Chicago area in a month we'll see. No POSI or locking diffs. All open. The qudra-track does the work in regular driving or in low 4x4.

:)

:edit:
I use to own a Cherokee (XJ). (92) The 242NP T-Case. Locking front and rear. Good times in that SUV, Good times...

I drive a mostly white (it's a little rusty) 1984 Toyota Corrolla. It is a manual transmission with a replacement floor board and wheel well courtisy of a Kenmore Dryer. My parents bought it when I was born and we've had it ever since. I get all kinds of people asking me how I fit in it because I'm 6'4". I decided against bringing it to IRI to save everyone the pain of looking at it and I didn't want to put it through the torture of five miles on the interstate.

Kevin A 20-08-2003 00:38

Are you refering to a Golf Gti or Rabbit Gti? The a1 chassis is less lovable then the a2 chassis found on the 1986+ Vdubs

What about a 2.0 L 16v putting out 150bhp in a 1600 lb. car?

Gotta love VW's

surgeboy101 20-08-2003 09:41
